A 542-card sales playbook, one tap away on any call.
A sales coach's question bank lived in a spreadsheet nobody could use mid-call. Now his sales team members open an app, tap their stage and have the right question in seconds. Or they ask an AI mentor that only answers from the coach's own library. Live in 8 days.

Client
An Australian sales coach who turns underperforming sales people into high performers. He works one-to-one with sales team members across several companies.
Problem
The coach had built a huge playbook: 542 question cards across six stages of a sale, with 626 ways to phrase them for different personalities. But it sat in a spreadsheet.
- Too slow on a live call. A team member stuck mid-conversation can't scroll rows and tabs. In his words: "I need help quickly. I need help now."
- Too much at once. Six stages, 32 sub-themes, four personality types, three tones. Even we found the list "overwhelming" on first read.
- Help stopped when he left. He calls himself their "sales doctor". The playbook had to work "when I'm not with them".
- No feedback. He had no way to know which questions actually helped.
- No control. He wanted it private: "not just a random link that anyone can use."
- It had to be easy. "It needs to look pretty and be easy to nav. In fact, it must be that, otherwise it won't get used."
What we built
We understood the problem, then picked the platform that fits. The result is a private, phone-first app built around one job: find the right question fast.
- Six stages, four taps. Pick the stage, pick the theme, see the questions. Filter by personality type or tone.
- AI Mentor. Describe the call ("a CFO went quiet after pricing"). It asks at most one follow-up, then returns 3 to 5 cards from the coach's library. It never writes its own questions.
- One question, three tones. Objection cards switch between Direct, Warm and Analytical with one tap.
- Favorites and votes. Team members star go-to questions and mark them Helpful or Not helpful.
- Coach dashboard. Invite or remove team members, edit the library, and see which questions help most.
- Book the coach. A Connect page opens his booking calendar inside the app.

Before
Questions lived in a spreadsheet, and team members had to remember them or wait for the next coaching session.
After
Team members open the app on any call and get the right question in a few taps, or ask the AI Mentor.
Results
- The right question in seconds. Any of 542 cards is about four taps away, on phone or laptop.
- An AI mentor in under 10 seconds. In testing, it returned real library picks in 3.6 to 9.5 seconds, across 13 sales scenarios.
- The coach is "in the room" between sessions. His playbook, his wording, available 24/7.
- He finally sees what works. Helpful votes rank every question, so he keeps the best ones and improves the rest.
- Private by design. Invite-only access, removable in one click.
Timeline & scope
8 days from final scope to launch. Delivered: the phone and web app, AI Mentor, coach dashboard and branded invite emails.
On the handover call we walked the coach through the settings, how to invite team members and how to put his own booking link into the Connect page. We also flagged the personality model's trademark, agreed a short credit line with him, and pushed it live during the same call.
In their words
“It's terrific. I'm very appreciative of you. You just think like a punter and think like a user.”
Screens show the real app with a test account.
